Checklist Before Leaving on Your Cruise
Here is a list of "Must Haves" Before Leaving Home
1) Cruise Tickets and Documents-Go online and check in
2) Passports for everyone-Make sure it does not expire within 6 months
3)Drivers License
4)Credit Card
5)Excursion tickets pre-purchased
6)Airline flight docs or directions to port
7)Prescription medications
8)Proper clothing and one "Dressy Outfit"

When you get to the dock you must present your cruise documents and a valid passport and/or green card.  Some countries will not let you enter if your passport does not have 6 months left before expiration.  A driver's license makes it easy to get back on the ship.  Leave your passport in your room safe unless the cruise line instructions tell you to bring it when leaving at a port that requires it.  A credit card is needed to make paying your cruise card balance easy and some room safes require a credit card to lock the safe.  If excursions are purchased for independent tours you must have the tickets with you.  If you purchased excursion tickets from the cruise lines they will usually deliver them to your room but having proof of purchase is good to have.  Most cruises have one or two nights to dress up for dinner and have pictures taken.  Formal attire is usually not needed, just a coat and tie for men and nice dress for women.  Some restaurants require long pants (no jeans) and no tank-tops, etc.  Check weather, cruise line events, and cruise line dress policies to determine proper clothing.

Low Price Cruises and Travel wishes you a great cruise!
